Remember Pinocchio? is a fashion film created by Arice, for the Italian fashion house ETRO. A nostalgic re-imagining of the classic character; Pinocchio, the puppet who dreamed he was a boy. Pinocchio sits, surrounded by masked figures, other identities; each holding their own secrets. Music floats through the scene mixing a dreamy uneasiness with the dusty crackle of old vinyl. Nostalgia: Vintage furniture and opulence surrounds him. Created by Arice Music Chris McLoughlin Client Etro

'Coming Home' is a paint-on-glass film telling the tale of the white-tailed sea eagle returning to their former home, the Metropole Ruhr in Germany. Once a landmark for industrial pollution, the region is now one of Europe's leaders in green energy. The return of the sea eagle to breed in the area after over 200 years is the perfect metaphor for this transformation. With 12 paintings per one second of film, the 75 second piece is made up of over one thousand paintings and took our all female team of artists three months to paint. Each frame is painted with slow drying oil paint and shot with a top-down camera in a light controlled room. After a frame is shot, the paint is wiped away and the next frame is repainted almost entirely from scratch. Each new frame created, destroys the last. Directed by Carol Freeman Original score by Chris McLoughlin Agency: Scholz&Friends Client: Metropole Ruhr
